Grant Property Management Expands into Broward County
Boca Raton-based Grant Property Management has made a significant move in the South Florida residential real estate market by acquiring Consolidated Community Management in Tamarac. This acquisition adds 90 new homeowners associations to Grant's portfolio, increasing their operations from exclusively serving Palm Beach County to now encompassing parts of Broward County as well.
Leadership Changes and Growth Plans
The acquisition not only expands Grant's geographical footprint but also enhances its workforce, boosting the team to a total of 80 employees. Renee Campbell, formerly the CFO of Consolidated Community Management and a seasoned executive with years of experience at United Community Management, will now serve as the CFO of Grant Management.
Mitchell Levey, President and CEO of Grant Property Management, expressed optimism about future growth. This is the fifth HOA management company acquired by Grant in the past two years, and Levey plans to continue pursuing further acquisitions. With approximately 50,000 homeowners associations in Florida, Levey sees a fertile market ripe for consolidation.
A Competitive Industry Landscape
Homeowners association management is a growing industry, particularly in the wake of rising home prices in South Florida, driven by an influx of high-income individuals relocating to the area. Levey highlights that many older management firms are seeking to exit the industry, creating opportunities for deft operators like Grant Property Management who prioritize superior customer service and operational excellence.
The Future for Homeowners Associations
As the consolidation trend continues, homeowners associations may benefit from improved management capabilities and more resources. With Grant's enhanced capabilities, expectations are high for increased community value across the newly acquired associations. Grant’s robust platform and seasoned leadership position them well to address the challenges and opportunities of managing such a diverse portfolio.
For homeowners in these communities, this growth suggests a potentially positive shift in how their associations are managed. Enhanced services and resources could mean smoother operations and better engagement within neighborhoods, translating to a more vibrant community atmosphere.
