Eliminating Hassles for Connecting Travelers Travelers often face a daunting series of hurdles when connecting flights after international arrivals; these include clearing passport control, retrieving checked luggage, rechecking bags, and navigating security once again. Delta’s new system will lessen these burdens—allowing passengers to be processed swiftly right after stepping off the plane. Bags will be automatically transferred to their connecting flight, akin to domestic travel, significantly reducing overall wait times.
